Over the Easter weekend this year, we have two Munro day walks back to back. The first of these will be a fine ridge traverse taking in two 1000m+ Munros on the south western edge of Rannoch Moor.

Beinn a'Chreachain (1081m) and Beinn Achaladair (1038m) are situated at the northern end of the Bridge of Orchy group of hills overlooking the Water of Tulla and West Highland railway line.

They make for a fine circular walk of around 12-13 miles, but bear in mind that in mid-April we may still have some patches of snow on the higher ridge sections of the walk and you should come equipped and prepared for walking in winter conditions.

Why not make a weekend of it and also join us for a walk on Buchaille Etive Mòr on Sunday 16th April? There are a number of places to stay nearby in Tyndrum, Bridge or Orchy or Kingshouse - but early booking is advised as they will likely be fully booked over the Easter weekend. Camping in the idyllic Glen Etive is also an option - it's still pre-midge season! If you are attending the post-Easter Skye Adventure Week, why not extend your trip to include both of these walks on the way there?
