Anglezarke Reservoir and Rivington Pike day walk

Join Jay for a walk around Anglezarke Reservoir leading up to Rivington Pike for some spectacular views of the surrounding area.
This 15km circular walk will take us for a gentle stroll around the multiple reservoirs, doubling back in a figure of 8 style towards The Rivington Bowling Club where we'll be stopping for a well needed lunch. From there we'll be making a gentle climb up towards the tower nested on top of Rivington Pike.
Throughout the walk we'll be able to visit the numerous historical landmarks such as the Rivington Terraces Gardens, Pidgeon Tower and Liverpool Castle. From there we cut through the surrounding woodlands and head back to the car park. If we make it back in time we will be able to end the walk at the Great House Barn Tea Rooms for a lovely slice of cake!
