We’ll start in the village with its amazing stone circle (largest surviving one in the world!) before looping around to the southeast, including a short section of Britain’s oldest road, The Ridgeway. We will then make our way back north via the main sites, including The Sanctuary, West Kennet Long Barrow and Silbury Hill, before returning to the village via the West Kennet Avenue of standing stones.

This isn’t a particularly long walk (7 miles) but there is a lot to stop and look at along the way!

Dogs are welcome on this walk but we will be passing through farm land where they will need to be under control.  There are also one or two styles that may prove difficult for larger breeds.
