Amberley (West Sussex) Open Gardens wander

9 places left
A leisurely stroll around the beautiful private gardens in Amberley, a small village nestled in the South Downs. These gardens are only open to the public for one afternoon every two years, with profits going to Action Medical Research Children's Charity.
Whilst in Amberley we may also take the opportunity to have a cup of tea and some cake and almost certainly we will spend a while at a pub before heading home.
More information can be found at the Amberley Open Gardens website, although it is a little empty at the moment. In 2014, one of the gardens was probably the biggest private garden I have ever seen, and also housed an eclectic collection of sculpture.
Could this be your perfect Sunday afternoon?
Food & drink
At the very least, please bring along some water to help you stay hydrated during the afternoon. There is only one shop in Amberley and it gets very busy during this event.
