Beware the shadows of the night and welcome to the witches, ghosts, ghouls and horrors that await you on the bloodcurdling Halloween Weekend.We'll be taking over the haunted castle of Borwick Hall in Lancashire. Legends of ghosts abound of children who were starved to death inside the castle walls and of an old hag who cast a venemous curse on the property when she was spurned a night's rest by the Fourteenth Baron. So join us in this suitably spooky place for Halloween 2014... We have exclusive use of the site, so it makes it much easier to get to know other members as you can be sure that everyone you meet is a member of OutdoorLads.

What to bring

You will need decent hiking boots, waterproofs and clothes suitable for the time of year, at the very least. You'll also need a towel, washing kit and clothes to wear about the hostels. All bedding is included in the event cost. Without the correct kit, you may not get to do the activity you want! If you are unsure about anything please message an Event Leader.

Don't forget to bring a fancy dress costume for the Saturday night.

Food & drink

Friday night: Halloween Buffet. Please bring an item for the buffet. One item per person will be fine - we are not feeding the 5000!

Saturday breakfast: Included in the cost.

Saturday lunch: Please bring a packed lunch.

Saturday dinner: A special Halloween Dinner is included in the event cost.

Sunday breakfast: Included in the cost.

Sunday lunch: You may wish to bring a packed lunch if you intend doing an activity on Sunday.
