As long as you want
Patrick continues to lead you to Brighton and Hove pubs you may otherwise have missed.
This month, join him for a return visit to the recently-extended The Lord Nelson, fewer than five minutes downhill from Brighton station.
The pub's own website says, "The traditional charm and Victorian features with two fireplaces create an intimate and comfortable environment in which to enjoy a superb menu, local ales and fine wines. We also have a more modern, large conservatory area and garden for sunny days which is available for hire. Candlelit in the evening, the space becomes a haven for locals and newcomers to this rediscovered hidden jewel."
Social events provide a support network for local members. They are an ideal way for existing members to catch up with each other and find out more about upcoming events.
What to bring
Food & drink
Food is available until 10pm. Some guys will eat, some won't, no pressure either way. According to the pub's website:
"Our freshly prepared traditional pub food with a modern style is prepared using fresh, locally sourced ingredients. We are proud that all of our fish is sustainable and meat is free range. We have an extensive selection of vegetarian and vegan foods available including our homemade veggie sausages which we prepare ourselves. Our menu changes daily so that it remains seasonal and gives our customers variation. Our most popular dishes are always available, though! We will never take off our local Fish and Chips in Harvey’s batter, Sausage and Mash (made by our Brighton butcher’s very own hands) and our Burgers, which are arguably the best in town."
