Windermere and Kirkstone Road Cycle

Join us on this fantastic road ride through the heart of the Lake District. We'll be tackling one of the most famous passes in the Lakes, Kirkstone, as well as passing the beautiful Grasmere, Thirlmere and Ullswater. The route can be found here https://ridewithgps.com/routes/20722141 

Pace and Terrain

On road, with a couple of mountain passes, suitable for road bikes only. You do need reasonable personal fitness for this event, however the day is intended to be an outing rather than an endurance test. We will stop for slower riders to catch up whilst going faster in between stops to allow them to develop their technique and fitness. Broadly, anyone who has recently cycled over 30 miles and who has regularly tackled some steep hills without difficulty will be able to complete this ride.
