Join us for a fantastically regal weekend break on the glorious Isle of Wight, staying in an impressive Edwardian house in its own expansive grounds close to the cliffs and beaches in Totland.
Osborne, on the north of the Isle of Wight, was the holiday residence of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert. This royal stamp of approval brought many famous Victorians to visit and settle on the Island.
We'll be following in their footsteps along with the historical greats of Alfred Lord Tennyson, Charles Dickens, Lewis Carroll and John Keats who were also inspired by this "Enchanted Isle".
Relax and enjoy a great time with friends old and new when over the weekend we'll take in as many of the beautiful sights as possible, with both a walk and cycle activity on the Saturday and a shorter walk on the Sunday.
What to bring
There will be walking and cycling activities available over the weekend and you should bring suitable kit for those you wish to take part in.
If you are intending to cycle, please note that it is OutdoorLads' policy that a helmet should be worn. Bikes hired locally include a helmet and puncture repair kit.
Please keep an eye out on the weather forecast nearer the time and pack accordingly!
Don't forget a towel and clothes to wear around the hostel.

On the Friday night will be the traditional OutdoorLads buffet although in keeping with the Royal theme we'll be having a "high tea". Please bring something for 1-2 people which we can share - think summer, think picnics, think elegance!
The evening meal on the Saturday night is included in the price of the event and will also fit in to the weekend's theme.
Breakfast on Saturday and Sunday is also included, along with tea and coffee.
You will need to provide your own lunches over the weekend but please remember there will limited space in the fridges at the hostel.
