Enjoy a summer escape with artisan G&T's and some spectacular scenery in this remote western corner of Wales.

Along the the Llŷn Peninsula is located the quaint farming village Aberdaron. Often referred to as the 'Land's End of Wales', or in Welsh Pendraw'r Byd (roughly 'far end of the world'). Aberdaron means Mouth of the River Daron, a reference to the Afon Daron (English: River Daron) which flows into Bae Aberdaron (English: Aberdaron Bay) in the village.

This is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and ideal to unwind and explore the rocky coastline, low cliffs and spacious beaches, including Porth Neigwl or Hell's Mouth as it is known for its many shipwrecks.

There will be some great coastal walking on offer in the area.

On Sunday at 10am we will also take 6 of you sea kayaking if that floats your boat. Spaces are first come first served, so please message the leader. The cost is £25 (or £20 if you are a National Trust member) and you will need swimwear, some old trainers and a towel.

Gin lovers may also enjoy an optional, informal gin tasting session with me during the weekend. If you wish to take part, please bring a bottle of something unusual to share (see link above for ideas) and we will while away the summer nights in contemplation of peculiar gins, flavours, garnishes and the medicinal properties of tonic.
