Walking in the Lakes Day One -Elterwater

This is Day One of a walking weekend (See further information later on)
Join Stephen on a 10 mile walk in and around Elterwater in the Langdale valley in Cumbria.
Highlights of the walk are :-
•Walking on the fells overlooking Elterwater and Chapel Stile
•Venturing into Little Langdale
•Visiting The Cathedral a magnificent quarry cave
•Following the river past Colwith Force and Skelwith Force
•Passing Elter Water , one of the smaller Lakes
•Then finishing back at Elterwater for some post walk drinks
- As mentioned before, this is part of a walking weekend in the Lakes whereby myself and others are organising walks, but you need to organise your own accommodation and food etc
- Some of us will be staying at the YHA in Windermere - you may want to stay there - here is a link
