The potential for activities from this base are extensive. A plethora of walks and paths to suit all abilities and challenges and we are promoting this event as a joint Walking and Cycling activity weekend with numerous Mountain Biking and Road Cycling routes close by (including the route used by the Tour de France in 2015). The hostel has a large secure Cycle Store. Peter Keeling: NW Cycling Co-ordinator: is on board to organise these activities and there will be a seperate Event page for Bikers to sign up. Jason will be walk leader supremo while muggins Marty works wonders in the kitchen to fill your bellies with good wholesome carbs & protein after a long hard but enjoyable Plodding & Pedalling across Wharfedale!

On the Sunday after cleaning up and packing there will be opportunity for more walking or biking or visiting the nearby bustling village of Grassington or maybe down to Skipton renowned for its Market, Castle, and large barge boat Marina on the Liverpool/Leeds Canal.
