CYMRAEG:

Mae llwybr beicio mynydd Gwydir Mawr gynt o'r enw Marin Trail yn llwybr beicio mynydd priodol ym mhob ystyr o'r tymor. Mae dringo mawr, disgyniadau mawr, cerdyn sbon wych a golygfeydd gwirioneddol wych yn gwneud y llwybr hwn i gofio.

Mae'r rhan fwyaf, ond nid pob un, o'r dringiau ar ffyrdd coedwigoedd a thraciau sy'n rhoi amser i chi gymryd golygfeydd mynyddoedd eryri, ac mae'r holl ddisgyniadau ar y badell fach melys. Mae'r singletack yn amrywio o dynn, technegol a chreigiog iawn i fod yn agored ac yn rhyfeddol, o goedwig tywyll i llinellau agored.

SAESNEG:

The Gwydir Mawr mountain bike trail, formerly known as the Marin Trail, is a proper mountain bike trail in every sense of the word.  Big climbs, long descents, brilliant singletrack and truly awesome scenery make this a trail to remember.

Most, but not all, of the climbs are on forest roads and tracks giving you time to take in the views of the mountains of Snowdonia, and all of the descents are on the sweetest of singletrack. The singletack varies from very tight, technical and rocky to wonderfully open and flowing - from dark forest to exposed ridgelines.

During the day some of our other members will have taken part in the Portmeirion 6th Trail Fell Run (a 6km cross country run).  If you're attending the social this evening there will be the opportunity to toast their success. If you'd like to attend the social in the evening click here for more details:  http://www.outdoorlads.com/event/north-wales-social-2

If you're interested in taking part in the fell run click here for more details:   http://www.outdoorlads.com/event/6th-trail-fell-run-2018

On the Sunday (the next day) we also have a mountain biking event happening not too far away.  If you'd like to take part in the Penmachno MTB Trail ride click here:  http://www.outdoorlads.com/event/penmachno-mtb

Betws-y-Coed (the hub for this weekend’s activities) and the surrounding area is full of accomodation to suit all budgets, from campsites and bunkhouses to expensive hotels. If you are thinking of staying the night and want some advice on where to stay, contact the event leader and he will be happy to guide you.
