Mankinholes is a hamlet in Calderdale, in West Yorkshire, England. It is situated in the Pennines and the nearest town is Todmorden in Yorkshire. The YHA is a former 16th century manor house is located in this quiet rural hamlet and has great views.

Mankinholes is the starting point for the popular trek up Stoodley Pike, "Pike" being a North-country term for a mountain or large hill. The hill is surmounted by a 19th-century obelisk, 120 feet (37 m) high, also known as "Stoodley Pike", commemorating the end of the Crimean War.

There's a range of walks for all ages and abilities. From a gentle walk along the canal to Hebden Bridge or a serious hike along the Pennine Way.

A great weekend of walking, good company and laughs in the Yorkshire Dales.
