Round off 2016 as we team up with the Hogmanay contingent, staying at Rowardennan, for an ascent of Scotland's most southerly Munro.

At 974m, Ben Lomond, towers over Loch Lomond marking the start of the Highlands and its impressive shape can be seen from Glasgow and other higher areas south of the Clyde on a clear day.

We plan to climb the hill by a circular route following the Ptarmagin ridge to reach its summit from the west side, descending by the more popular tourist path down the south-east side of the hill.

Please note, if you are registered on our Hogmanay event this walk is inclusive to the hostel stay and you do not need to register on this page.
