Outdoor Lads will be in the parade for the first Hastings Pride. It will be a great opportunity to promote who we are and what we do especially as we do not currently have a lot of members in this area. This event has been put up at very short notice so please sign up as soon as you can so we can advise numbers to the organisers.
The background to this is that last year, a group of people got together and ran a successful event which was the Hastings Pride Launch Party. This year, they are now assembled as the not for profit Hastings Pride CIC (Community Interest Company) and the event today is their first full parade and festival, all of which will be free.

After the festival, the official Pride After Party will be at On the Rocks at 4 Claremont which is on the parade route. If you happen to be around the day before, the Pride Launch Party will also take place at this venue. This is their Facebook page:

The stated end time for this event is irrelevant; the festival starts at 12.15 and you can decide what time it will end for you! It will be informal once we arrive there.
What to bring
If you are prepared to join the march, please bring your red Outdoor Lads T shirt with you.
Food & drink
It may be advisable to bring some food with you. However no glass or drinks cans are allowed into the festival although it looks as though there may well be a bar and food outlets there.
