Harrock Hill and Fairy Glen Day Walk

Join Stephen on a 10 mile walk in and around Parbold in Lancashire
Highlights of the walk will be
• Following the Canal then climbing  up and above Parbold to High Moor
• Head to Hunters and Harrock Hill with views across the West Lancashire Plain and The Pennines
• Visit the remains of  a windmill which is now set in woodland
• Walking down past the Boar’s Den and ancient earthwork mound
•  Walking down through Fairy Glen a wooded valley with waterfalls, ferns and a babbling brook
• Following the canal back into Parbold for some well earned post walk drinks

This is a 'green' walk whereby you can travel to and from the event by train , so if convenient you can leave the car at home . Also you could consider car sharing by using the Add New Comment field below to the walk description to arrange lifts
