Come for this ride up into the base of the Moorfoot Hills and the Gladhouse Reservoir as part of the series of Scottish Summer Evening Cycles

Leaving Eskbank Station we will be heading out towards Temple, Gladhouse and then turning back at Howgate we will head towards Rosewell and back to Eskbank. See the route here: https://www.strava.com/routes/7914187

For those that wish, there will be an option to cycle back into Edinburgh from Eskbank.

Road bikes are best for this run though hybrid bikes will have to work a lot harder to keep up! No-one will get left behind, however you must have a reasonable level of fitness. Some parts of this ride do have some steep sections!

Some parts of this route route that have quite a bit of traffic. Care and attention will be required whilst riding through it.
