Join Neil and Rob as we undertake Walking The Beacons Way in 8 one day linear walks. We will be undertaking the walks on weekdays as we both have to work weekends. The Beacons Way is a 95 mile long distance trail from Abergavenny at the eastern edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park to Bethlehem in the West. Parts of the walk are very strenuous but you are rewarded with spectacular views from the Brecon Beacons.

PLEASE READ BELOW.
We will walk the seventh leg as described on the website above - Llanddeusant to Carreg Cennon. This a moderately strenuous 13 mile walk, and you will need good walking gear along with a very close eye on the weather as it is very exposed over large parts of the route.
We will leave a car at the finish to shuttle guys back to Llanddeusant youth hostel car park
The eighth days walk from Carreg Cennen to Bethlehem is scheduled for the 17th October
What to bring
Strong walking boots, walking poles and suitable clothing depending on the forecast.
Food & drink
You will need to take all your supplies for the day as once we leave The Storey Arms there are no further facilities.
