Join Neil and Rob as we undertake Walking The Beacons Way in 8 one day linear walks. We will be undertaking the walks on weekdays as we both have to work weekends. The Beacons Way is a 95 mile long distance trail from Abergavenny at the eastern edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park to Bethlehem in the West. Parts of the walk are very strenuous but you are rewarded with spectacular views from the Brecon Beacons.
Details of the walk can be found :

PLEASE READ BELOW.
We will walk the fifth leg as described on the website above - The Storey Arms to Craig y Nos. This a strenuous 16 mile walk, and you will need good walking gear along with a very close eye on the weather as it is very exposed over large parts of the route.
We will aim to take the T6 bus from Craig y Nos back to Brecon at 17:19. Please note if we miss this bus, the next is at 19.22. Once in Brecon we will use our car to get guys back to The Storey Arms so be prepared for a long day.
The sixth days walk from Craig Y Nos to Llanddeusant is scheduled for the 4th September
What to bring
Strong walking boots, walking poles and suitable clothing depending on the forecast.
Food & drink
You will need to take all your supplies for the day as once we leave The Storey Arms there are no further facilities. There are toilets at the Pont ar Daf national trust car park. WE WILL MEET OPPOSITE THE STOREY ARMS. There is a small green tea shack in this car park, but it is unlikely to be open
