"Clumber" on board your road bikes for a ride or two through Nottinghhamshire and parts of the Sherwood Forest.
We will be based at Clumber Park (English Heritage) where we will be staying and taking out our road bikes (sorry, no mountain bikes) for rides of 50 miles or so, taking in the countryside and landmarks as we go. It is likely we will head south through the Sherwood Forrest on our ride.
Clumber Park was once the country estate of the Dukes of Newcastle and it boasts of approx 3800 acres of parkland. Explore the lakes, Europe's longest avenue of Lime Trees (2 miles), the buildings and the peaceful woodlands too.
