Celebration Weekend 2017: The AGM
140 people attending
30 places left
Celebrate everything about OutdoorLads at our 2017 Annual General Meeting. This is much more than just an official meeting to complete the legal obligations of the charity - this is a chance to see what we've been doing for the past year as well as a preview of our plans for the future.
You also get a chance to ask your questions in open forum to the Board of Trustees and review the financial performance of the group.
But most importantly, this is about bringing our Members together for everyone to share in their experiences of what OutdoorLads means to them. Whether you've been a Member for ten years or have just joined we are all part of something amazing so let's make it a great celebration weekend.
Why Bristol?
Bristol is a wonderful destination for a weekend away. An ancient port city the centre is focussed around the old harbour with a huge range of shops, attractions, restaurants and bars.
But the city has a fantastic history. A walk along the harbour, past old cranes and re-furbished dock buildings (now home to galleries, cafes and museums) to the The SS Great Britain is a must. ‘The ship that changed the world’ is a fantastic attraction and well worth getting on board.
If you fancy a longer walk head past the old university building, through the leafy, trendy suburb of Clifton to the Downs and another of Brunel’s feats of engineering genius - the Clifton Suspension Bridge.
