BSC2017: Snowdon Day Walk (Challenging)

This is a challenging walk for some, up the famous Pyg Track. The route passes underneath the knife-edged Crib Goch ridges before zig zagging above the deep blue waters of Llyn Llydaw and Lynn Glaslyn to the col between Snowdon and Garnedd Ugain where you're greeted with a fantastic view over Anglesey. The final section to the summit runs parallel to the tracks of the Snowdon Mountain Railway. The return route doubles back down the top half of the Pyg Track before branching off down the Miners' Track giving you an opportuntity to view Snowdon's twin lakes from their shores.
