An autumnal 12 miles circular walk from the village of Lockton near Pickering. Taking in an atmospheric ruined church, pretty villages, exposed moorland, the dramatic Hole of Horcum, and the incredible formations of the Bridestones, this is a full day walk, full of variety and surprises.
What to bring
Be prepared for sun, wind, rain, hail, fog - who knows! Full waterproofs a must, spare layers in a water proof bag in your rucksack, no jeans, strong walking boots.
Food & drink
Bring a packed lunch, water / flask. Tea room at the end in Lockton.
